We have organized a seminar on DATA SCIENCE AND ITS APPLICATION conducted on 27/08/2022 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am through virtual mode by ICT academy. Mr. KANNAN.S from Wisen IT solutions co-ordinated the event. Around 300 students from CSE,IT and MCA departments took part in the event.

We have organised a Faculty Development Program on the latest cloud technology called “Amazon Web Services (AWS)” on 19.08.2022 between 10am to 1.30pm for the faculty of CSE, IT and MCA. Seventeen faculty members from JEC (14) and JSEC(3) participated in the FDP. The team of resource persons from KnackForge Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd handled the sessions. The resource persons are Mr. Vishnuvardhan P, Technical Director,Mr. Vamsee Krishna S P, Technical Lead ,Mr. Harish U, Associate Team Lead

Jaya Engineering College in association with IBM and Shooting Star Foundation organised Hackathon called “IBM zDatathon” on 24th and 25th Sep, 2022. Totally 184 participants grouped into 36 teams participated from different discipline of Engineering and Technology. Mr.Arun Sandeep from Capgemini enlightened the students about Mainframe computers.

Our students participated in SMART INDIA HACKATHON was organized at VARANASI IIT BHU held on 25.08.2022 and 26.08.2022. Idea on Developing a AI chat bot .

The Internal Hackathon organized with regard to the SIH 2022 was conducted on 26th of March 2022 at Foss Lab of CSE Dept. Jaya Engineering College. A total of 10 teams participated in the event comprising 23 girls and 37 boys . The event started with Topic discussion followed by Presentation of Idea to the Jury panel. The event processed from 8.30 A.M to 5.30 P.M. The Jury members were Shiva Shankaran, Technical Lead-Advantest India Pvt Ltd, Harish U ,Software Developer- Knack forge Soft Solutions Pvt Ltd, Lokesh Kumar Ravi-Senior Software Engineer
Mindtree Ltd,Gowthaman Palani,Senior Software Engineer-HCL Technologies,Karthik J U,Dotnet Developer-MSC Technologies.

The event was organized for the students of IT and Computer science and engineering Department by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering .To create an awareness about the event .Around 84 students participated on 05-05-2022 the first round for the event was conducted through online. The Commencement of the final round was made on 07-05-2022 .

Jaya engineering college organised the event on national technology day 2022 by computer science and engineering department held on 11-05-2022 from 9:30 am to 3:50 pm.Around 140 Students have participated And 5 external took part in the event. Events categoriesed as IDEATHON ,TECH TALK, TECH DEMO based on the technology.
