Dr.G.SANKARANARAYANAN

The Principal of the college obtained B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering in faculty of Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University Chennai. He has completed Masters in Thermal Engineering Madras University in the year 2000. He was awarded Ph.D. degree in the year 2006 by the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Anna University, and Chennai.

He has 5 years of Industrial experience and 29 years of academic experience. He has an expertise in the field of Alternative Fuel & Emission in IC engine. He has published 118 papers in reputed International Journals, 52 International Journals, 26 International Conferences, 26 International conferences and   24 National Conferences. He has guided more than 5 PhD, 42 UG projects 24 PG projects, published 3 books and 5 patents He is a Life time member of Indian Society for Technical Education [ISTE], New Delhi, Fellow of Institution of Engineer, Fellow Combustion Institute He is an Anti-ragging committee Member of Jaya Engineering College. He is an approved Research Guide for Anna University, Sathyabama Deemed University, AMET University.
