About the Seminar:

A Technical Seminar on Current trends in 3D modeling using CATIA Software was conducted on 29.12.2018 (Saturday) Successfully at CAD Laboratory presided by The HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering, JEC.
This program is arranged for third year Mechanical Engineering Students. The aim of this program was to provoke a discussion among the students over the best ways to improve the design knowledge and 3D printing technology which will help them to understand the depth of the subject.

Dr.P.Gurusamy, HOD (MECH), gave a brief introduction on the basic concepts in the subjects of Design of transmission systems and Automobile Engineering.

The seminar proceeded by the resource person, Mr. V.Sundar, Assistant Manager-Quality Control, CADD School, who delivered the design analysis very clearly to the students. Also he was accompanied by Mr.Siddarth and Mr.Raja to present the 3D printing process and Catia Models.

I would also like to thank our Assistant Professors Mr.K.Ganesan and Mr.T.Paramaguru for their well organization and execution in conducting the Seminar.
