The objective of this guest lecture is to give an overview of various soft computing techniques. The session stared by Dr.G.Kalarani, Head of the Department. Final year student Ms.S.Revathi delivered the welcome address and gave briefed out the profile of the resource person Dr.S.Jeyadevi. Our resource person explained about the basics of soft computing and various classification of its like artificial neural network, Fuzzy logic, Genetic algorithm, ANT colony optimization, Particle Swarm optimization techniques. The session was very informative and useful to the students. At the end of the session Mr.R.Akash, Final year student gave the vote of the thanks.

ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
The National level technical Symposium commenced with an Opening Ceremony hosted by our beloved Chairman Prof. Dr. A. Kanagaraj (Jaya Educational Trust). Shri.Dr.K.M.PARAMMASIVAM Post-Doc(JAPAN) Professor and Shri. HARI VISWANATH (SCIENTIST F(CVRDE)) were Chief Guest for our program. The national level technical symposium ”INSCALIBER_T20” was inaugurated by Shri. HARI VISWANATH(SCIENTIST F(CVRDE)) at 9.00 am. Welcome address given by Mrs.Dr. G.Kalarani, HOD of EIE department. Our Chairman Prof. Dr. A. Kanagaraj was given the valuable suggestions to the students. In the Symposium’s opening session the chief guest Mr. Shri. Dr. K.M.PARAMMASIVAM Post-Doc(JAPAN) Professor and Shri.HARI VISWANATH (SCIENTIST F(CVRDE)) was given the motivational and technical speech to our students to expand the potential of them. The various events were conducted at various departments and more than 400 students were participated. Cash prizes were given for all the technical events.
