Mission of the Department

The Department of Textile Technology is committed to,

• To provide world-class textile technology education, undertake research & development relevant to Indian textile – apparel industry, inculcate entrepreneurship and mould the youth as responsible professionals with leadership quality, knowledge and skills for the betterment of the society.
• Teaching the necessary skills, theories and practices of Textile Technology.
• We help the students to learn critical thinking skills and how to combine scientific knowledge and engineering methods with practical technical skills to prepare them for the challenging career.
• To undertake research in Textile Technology, and to serve the community and the profession.
• To provide Research and Development Activities in collaboration with R&D organizations, industries and make the department as a centre of excellence.
