ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Master of Engineering in Very Large Scale Integration Design or ME VLSI Design is a 2 year postgraduate course under the domain of electronics engineering with a specialization in the VLSI based circuit design. Under this course, students get an opportunity to develop domain specific skills and practical knowledge. The course includes algorithms, system architectures, physical designs, low power design techniques, mixed mode design methodologies etc. After completing ME VLSI Design, one can either pursue M.Phil or Ph.D in this subject or take up a job as Project Designer, Networking Engineer, Design Engineer etc. A student of this course will have the necessary confidence to independently design and develop electronic systems useful to the society. Besides classroom learning, students get industrial exposure by way of industrial visits. Students are encouraged to take up internship in companies and carry project work in the final 4th semester.
