Age limit for UG & PG Courses

Students have to produce the following documents / particulars:
- Transfer Certificate Original with (certified photocopies) – 5 copies
- Mark Lists Original with (certified photocopies) – 5 copies
- Degree / Diploma Certificate Original with (certified photocopies) – 5 copies
- Community Certificate, if applicable with (certified photocopies) – 5 copies
- Migration Certificate, if applicable with (certified photocopies) – 2 copies
- Physical Fitness Certificate – 2 copies
- Eligibility Certificate from the University
- (Other state / Foreign students) if applicable or required – 3 copies
- Passport size photo – 5 copies
- Self-addressed Post card (or) Postal Cover – 3 Nos

NRI Category
Candidates are required to have a just pass in their Hr.Sec. / Intermediate Examination or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
NRI Financially supporting the person should either be the Parent or legally declared Guardian by the Court as per provisions in The Guardians and Wards Act, 1890.
NRI Category students have to produce the following additional documents / particulars to Anna University to obtain the Eligibility Certificate:
- Sponsorship Letter
- Passport of the Financial Supporter (Attested Xerox Copy)
- Bank Statement of the Financial Supporter (Attested Xerox Copy)
- DD for 1000 USD from the Financial Supporter
- Proof for payment of 1000 USD from the Financial Supporter
- Receipt for 1000 USD from the College
- Employer Certificate of Financial Supporter
- Embassy Certificate of the Financial Supporter
- Relationship and Nativity Certificate of the Financial Supporter from the Local (Indian) Taluk Office
Foreign Nationals
Students from Foreign Countries, who have passed the qualifying examinations equivalent to Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu are eligible to get admission under this category.
Foreign students have to produce the following documents / particulars:
- Original certificate & syllabus of the qualifying examination
- Equivalency Certificate issued by the concerned University
- Migration Certificate have to be obtained
- Eligibility Certificate from Anna University
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Human Resource & Development, New Delhi
- Passport of the student and attested xerox copy of parents Passport
- Clearance Certificate from the competent authority

Non-Eligible Courses
- The M.Sc (2 Years) courses are not eligible for admission to M.E (Computer Science) Course.
- Candidates admitted through lateral entry in degree courses are not eligible except B.E / B.Tech degree courses.
- B.E / B.Tech Degrees obtained through distance mode / weekend courses are not eligible.

Entrance Examination
Candidates have to appear for any one of the following entrance examinations mentioned against the Degree Courses (Except for NRI / Foreign Nationals) for P.G. Courses. No entrance for UG Courses but they have to register with Consortium for Rank Card.
- M.B.A / M.C.A CET conducted by the Consortium / TANCET
- M.E / M.Tech CET conducted by the Consortium / TANCET
Age Limit for UG & PG Courses
No age limit for all UG & PG Degree Courses.
Students have to produce the following documents / particulars:
