Our Department conducted a Seminar titled “Cloud Infrastructure” on 28/07/2018 in MCA Lab – PG Block. The function started around 09:30 A.M with Prayer song and inaugurated by Dr. R. Kesavan, Head, Department of MCA with welcome Address and Introduction of the resource Person Mr. K. Karthick Narayanan, Project Manager, Infosys, Chennai.

The students of second and third year MCA has participated in the seminar. The seminar was very useful for second year and final year MCA students. Some of the topics from this seminar covered 5th Unit of the subject Service Oriented Architecture for final year MCA. The students of final year MCA clarified many doubts regarding their project works. The Resource Person gave detailed explanation about how to do projects and what are all the steps involved in project development. The II MCA students they have a separate subject “Cloud Computing in the next semester. So, they got some basic idea about cloud concepts.

Our resource person Alumni of MCA department Mr. Karthik was the backbone of Our Country Income Tax Department Software. That software managed by Infosys Technologies. He played major role in structuring the Income Tax Software.The seminar was finally concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Karthikeyan from final year MCA.
